THE EVOLUTION featuring Shane, Nicky, Kian and Mark.

5 Years (and 3 Albums) Later [09.30.11]
The first time I watched Westlife in concert was on September 4, 2006 during their Face to Face tour. Heck, I was in first year college then. And yes, I stashed the old ticket someplace. As you can see, the print has almost completely faded. This photo is more for posterity’s sake.
I must say, the lads look better than ever. Till next time, Shane, Mark, Kian & Nicky! (But please let it be sooner. Another five years is a long time to wait.)
*Correction: That’s four albums later, not three. I thought Face to Face came after The Love Album (not pictured above). Silly me.
I thought they’d be back, but alas, their final Farewell Concert at Croke Park is tomorrow. Thank you for the music, Westlife.
There’s a long road ahead stretches out for miles and if you want some company walk with me a while…

There’s something wrong here.

Westlife - Lighthouse! :)
In light of their recent announcement, I realize that this may well be the last music video they’re ever going to make.
I think the gorgeous background is meant to distract us from the awfully saddening message that it is ):
We’ll really miss you, Westlife. You guys are all amazing and your music will live through the ages.
You’ll keep singing forever, in our hearts. ♥
Can’t say it’s unexpected - they’ve been doing this for 14 years! They really deserve the break. I just didn’t think the day would come so soon after their recent tour.
