I see a half-transfigured shark… Viktor Krum, is that you?
Potter withdrawal makes me see things.
After Potter [09.27.12]
Got my copy of The Casual Vacancy today.
I haven’t started reading yet, because I just watched The Perks of Being a Wallflower earlier and I really want to focus on writing a decent review for it before I actually get started on this. I’m not a very good multitasker, see, so I’d much prefer to save the book for the weekend. Less distractions. I hope.
Sweet Treats [09.27.12]
From Harry Potter: The Exhibition, courtesy of my uncles. (Thank you again for the pasalubong!)
Already tore the plastic off the box of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, but I haven’t eaten any yet. Nor have I dared to tear open the Chocolate Frog.
But don’t worry. I will. Soon. (Hmm, I wonder who’s on my Wizard Card…)

The Grand Scheme of Things [09.01.12]
I initially thought to crop out the skyline, but then I realized that its minuteness beneath the big, blue sky lends some sense of… scale, perhaps? As the cliche goes, the world is a very big place, and we are but small specks in the grand scheme of things.
My photoblog has a new home - go check it out! :)
5 Years (and 3 Albums) Later [09.30.11]
The first time I watched Westlife in concert was on September 4, 2006 during their Face to Face tour. Heck, I was in first year college then. And yes, I stashed the old ticket someplace. As you can see, the print has almost completely faded. This photo is more for posterity’s sake.
I must say, the lads look better than ever. Till next time, Shane, Mark, Kian & Nicky! (But please let it be sooner. Another five years is a long time to wait.)
*Correction: That’s four albums later, not three. I thought Face to Face came after The Love Album (not pictured above). Silly me.
I thought they’d be back, but alas, their final Farewell Concert at Croke Park is tomorrow. Thank you for the music, Westlife.
Not Snow [06.16.12]
I like how this looks to be a snowy landscape when in fact it’s not.

That pinakbet pizza was delicious, by the way. ;9
Point Me [02.11.12]
Note: If you’ve read Goblet of Fire - and I do mean READ, not watched - you’d know about the Four-Point spell. If not, no biggie. (Hence the wand and the Muggle compass.) I just wanted to give the photo some context.
Just as Harry used this spell to navigate the Triwizard maze, don’t you sometimes wish there was a similar way to navigate life? What with the different decisions we have to make and the various directions we’re led to take. Then again, life isn’t always a plottable course, is it? More often than not, we just have to take our chances, do our best, and hope that things will work out fine.
“Who knows where life will take you? The road is long, and in the end, the journey is the destination.” (One Tree Hill, 3x15)
Microblogging on my photoblog - that’s a first.
